DDC Dress
Rental Reservation Form

Dance Dress Consignment (DDC) hereby leases for a specified period to the below named person (from herein known as Renter), and Renter hereby rents from DDC, the dress(es) described on the Rental Reservation Form on the terms and conditions set forth herein for the time period indicated. All dresses shall remain the property of DDC and must be returned upon demand.

The Renter also agrees to the following:

RENTER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT DDC HAS NOT AND DOES NOT MAKE ANY REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE SUITABILITY OF THE DRESS(ES), ITS FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ITS CONDITION AND/OR ITS QUALITY AND RENTER ACCEPTS ALL DRESSES AS “AS IS” CONDITION.

DDC liability under this Rental Agreement shall in all cases, including without limitation, failure of delivery of the Dress(es), be limited to the return of all sums paid by Renter to DDC on account of the rental provided herein.

All renters must be at least 18 years of age.

All rental fees due from the Renter must be PAID IN FULL prior to the Start Date specified by the Renter. 

Renter will return any and all dresses within 5 days of rental and if rented on site at a competition, no later than the end of the competition/closure of the DDC vendor booth unless other arrangements are made with DDC. If the dress is returned late, a late fee will be charged based on the number of days it is returned late. 

Renters credit card will be required to do an authorization of the full purchase price as a hold until the dress is returned undamaged. On return of the dress, any late return fees or damage fees will be charged to the card up to the full value of the dress as well as the $250 rental fee and shipping costs.  

 

Renter will return the dress(es) back to DDC with no damage. Any damage to any rental dress(es) will be assessed by DDC and will be charged to the Renter and Renter will receive an invoice of damages.  Any unpaid invoice will be sent for collection, or taken to small claims court.     

PRO TAN OR ANY SIMILAR PERMANENT TANNING PRODUCTS ARE NOT PERMITTED. Damages will result in additional fees or the cost of replacement of the dress.

For hygienic reasons, please wear underwear while wearing all dresses.  

Renter is responsible for the safe return of the dress(es).   Renter is responsible for loss/theft during rental. 

• Late/Loss/Theft: Dresses not returned in original condition by the end of the event or time specified in contract, will be charged the full purchase price of the rental dress. 

• Dress(es) will not be altered by the Renter. Dress(es) must not be damaged upon return. Damage fees will be assessed for alterations and may be held from any deposit.

• All accessories sent with the rental dress(es) must be returned with the dress. Any accessories not returned by the end of the event will be charged full retail value as determined by DDC.

• Professional cleaning is included in the rental price and no additional cleaning charge will be assessed unless the dress is returned damaged.  Do not dry clean the dress for any reason.

I agree to all terms set forth by DDC and agree to cover the cost of the dress(es) rental(s), and any damages/loss/theft and/or late charges.

By paying a rental fee on a dress, renter affirms agreement to all terms herein stated.
